George & Julie Holmes, 3220 Jacksonville Road, Trumansburg, New York, returned from their 12th winter in Albania. The Holmes have led Fellowship of Christian Farmers missions work in Albania. Winter 2005 was a wet and cold, but that didn’t hamper village ministry work. The Holmes’ along with the Albanian SOWERS Team are working in seven rural villages around the capitol city of Tirane. With no work and harsh winters in the mountains, village people are moving close to the capitol city. New villages are taking over empty government ground. With high unemployment, men are hanging around street corners waiting for someone to come along that needs a worker.
