“Raising the Roof to Raise the Hope” in Starraya Russa, Russia includes half of the roof now covering the oldest part of the original church. This summer church members and men in the second phase of their alcohol rehabilitation will tear down the old church under the new roof. The new interior will be built under the completed portion of the roof before the entire roofline is finished. City zoning prevented the Starraya Russa Church from expanding on adjacent property. Future FCFI Russia Mission teams will help our Russian friends finish construction in Starraya Russa and Chechulina.
