Planting Seeds of Faith at the 2025 Virginia Farm Show – by Michael and Karen Steele

Day #1 of the Virginia Farm Show is about to open. The FCFI booth is all ready. Stop in today for your own Wordless Walking Stick and the Gospel message of Lord Jesus Christ.

Greetings to Our Wonderful Family in Christ!

The Fellowship of Christian Farmers, International – Pennsylvania Northern Tier Chapter had the privilege of attending the Virginia Farm Show at the Augusta Expo Center in Fishersville, VA, from Thursday to Saturday, January 16–18, 2025.

Our dedicated witnesses, Michael and Karen Steele, led this event, and we were truly blessed to pray with a young man who accepted Jesus into his heart.

Throughout the show, we had many meaningful conversations with farmers and their families. We also distributed approximately 80 Wordless Walking Sticks, along with numerous Wordless Bible bracelets and zipper pulls.

This farmer just happens to be a Pastor’s son. He was excited to see the salvation message of Lord Jesus Christ being shared at the farm show.

No matter how young the children are, we try to share Jesus. Mom stops by and holds her little one up as FCFI witness Karen Steele shares.

It’s always enjoyable to watch people stroll by and pause to read the FCFI banner hanging above our booth. Many stop and stare, curious, as they’ve never heard of the Fellowship of Christian Farmers, International.

This gives us a wonderful opportunity to introduce them to FCFI, share brochures, and explain our mission—helping farmers connect with a strong Christian community that supports and upholds their faith-based farming values.

This young man got his own walking stick. He said he does not need it and that he leans on the Lord. But he would enjoy a stick. He turns 92 years old real soon, he told us.

A farmer has gotten the message of Lord Jesus’ death and resurrection. Now it is time for him to pick out his own FCFI Wordless Walking Stick. FCFI witness Karen Steele assists.

Two farmers stop by and get Farmall Wordless Walking Sticks. Even though their tractors at home are green and yellow, they were happy to get Farmall red sticks. We hope these two farmers have a great time with their new sticks walking the boundaries of their fields.

This young farmer was the first to stop and get his free Wordless Walking Stick. It is great to see young and old farmers stop by the FCFI booth.
