Fishing in small farm ponds where the fish bite almost instantly is an unforgettable experience. This is exactly how it felt while ministering at the Oregon and Tennessee FFA State Conventions. The students were so eager for the Gospel that sharing the anointed Word of God resulted in a bountiful harvest of souls for Christ. Even more encouraging was their enthusiasm in receiving Christian books, New Testaments, literature, websites, and other follow-up materials that we provided.
God is raising up more laborers in the northwestern United States, as evidenced by the four new men who joined us in ministry at the Oregon convention. Among them were two young Oregon farmers, just 18 and 19 years old, whom Dennis and Dan recently met at the Commodity Classic in Denver. These young men connected deeply with the FFA students and will undoubtedly be a valuable part of our future shows and conventions in that region.

At the Tennessee convention, area leader Mike Weaver delivered a powerful message to the students, emphasizing the most important pursuit in life. The students truly appreciated his words, highlighting their deep longing for direction and purpose.

Revelation 14:15 states, “And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” Ministering to hundreds of FFA students in Oregon and Tennessee revealed just how applicable this scripture is today. The harvest of souls in our country and around the world is ripe, and it is our responsibility to act. Revelation 14:16 confirms, “And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.” The reaping of souls is God’s greatest priority. Additionally, Revelation 3:7 reminds us that Jesus, holding the key of David, opens doors that no man can shut. We ask for prayers that these doors remain open, allowing us to continue this important work.

Students at these conventions were searching for hope, purpose, and the true meaning of life. Matthew 14:14 tells us, “Jesus went forth and saw a great multitude, and He was moved with compassion toward them.” When these students visited our booth, the love and compassion of Jesus guided us in sharing eternal truths that have the power to set them free and grant them lasting peace. As John 8:36 says, “Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.”
