Sharing the Gospel at the Nebraska and South Dakota FFA State Conventions – by Jeff Goss

The Fellowship of Christian Farmers had the privilege of ministering at the Nebraska FFA State Convention held at the Pinnacle Arena on the campus of the University of Nebraska. For two full days, our booth welcomed thousands of students, many of whom stopped to hear the Gospel message—and several made the life-changing decision to pray and receive Christ into their lives.

One arena security officer remarked that our booth was the most well-attended among all the vendors and exhibits. But what truly stood out to him, he said, was how focused and attentive the students were as they listened to the message of hope and salvation. Several students expressed their gratitude for our presence at the event. One young girl even shared that hearing the Gospel had completely made her day.

After the Nebraska convention, the journey continued to Brookings, South Dakota, for the South Dakota FFA State Convention. There, too, the response was heartfelt. The students and staff were thankful and welcoming, and it was clear that our presence and message were deeply appreciated.

Special thanks go to Pastor John Potter from Mitchell, South Dakota, and Marlin Bunger for their invaluable help during the South Dakota event. Their partnership made a big impact.

A particularly memorable moment came when a young man approached with a deep desire to pursue ministry. He had many questions about how to become a pastor, sharing that he had felt a calling on his life for some time. It was a reminder of why this mission is so vital—to plant seeds of faith and help guide the next generation of leaders.

We thank God for the open doors and hearts at both state conventions, and we ask for continued prayer as we share the Good News across the country.
