New Book Available!

Glenn Schuler, one of our Iowa volunteers, offered a book he wrote on one of our display tables.  The back cover explains it best:
"Words can be a powerful tool to understand and express how you are feeling.  Poetry is perhaps one of the best examples of that.  It moves you and makes you think.
In "From a Brother to Another" author Glenn Schuler shares his thoughts and poems that broke down difficult language barriers and opened the ears and hearts of those he loves.  The poems were written over 25 years while he faced challenges like divorce,  job failures, loneliness, depression,  financial woes, inflated pride, and more.  Now he is ready to share his words with you..."
Contact the Fellowship of Christian Farmers for a $5 copy.

The Fellowship of Christian Farmers booth will be full of Gospel presenters and Gospel listeners for the duration of the farm show.  5000 walking sticks found new homes, and many prayed to receive Christlast year!  Please pray for the folkscoming to our booth this year. Your help is needed!

Seminary student sharing the Gospel with a couple

"For the past 20 years, the Billy Graham School for Missions and Evangelism, located on the campus of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, has assisted FCFI in presenting the Gospel message during the four days of the National Farm Machinery Show. "

Southern Baptist Theological Seminary student sharing with some young ladies

Last year, several students from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary volunteered to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ using the Wordless Walking Stick.  The booth was full all day long and our student presenters did a great job handling the large crowds coming to our booth.  We will have Southern Bapsist students here again this year.

Ron Miller speaking at the Praying for Farmers seminar at the National Farm Machinery Show entitled "Stability  in Unstable Times"

In the seminar last year, Ron Miller talked about his early life as a farmer in the late 70s and 80s.  He dealt with poor economic policies, isolation, lonliness, and drought, all which have made more farmers than you can imagine contiplate suicide.  No matter the problem, Jesus is the answer.  He will never forsake those who love Him.

This year's seminar, titled "Stability and Hope in an Unstable Time" will be presented in South Wing C, Room 106. from 8:00 - 8:45am.    We will have the room until 11:00am each day..Hope to see you all there!

Ron had said that men do not like to share their feelings.  But sharing with other farmers allows you to see that you are not alone and that others are going through the same struggles.  Farming is a calling, and God will provide.

There were seminars both Friday and Saturday.  Here are videos from both days.  They are similar in content.  Day 1 has added footage from Asbury College, where revival is taking place.  Day 2 of the seminar may have better sound, since we were issued a microphone for Day 2.
